Preamble

The International Admissions Cell, at DMIHER, is dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for international students. Serving as a single point of contact, the cell provides comprehensive support ranging from admissions and immigration to housing and professional development. It fosters an inclusive environment where international students integrate into the diverse cultural and academic landscape of the university.

Objectives of the Cell

• Ensuring that internationalization activities contribute in accord with the university’s strategic objectives.
• Growing DMIHER(DU)’s profile as a research & innovation led, global university.
• Striving for the integration of the global and local to add value to both with international activities enhancing student life and staff development at DMIHER(DU), where incoming international students and staff being integrated into the local environment.
• Performing a consultative and facilitation role in assisting the international students community with departmental, faculty, institutional linkages and peer-to-peer communication within the DMIHER(DU) framework.
• Providing specialised support services for international students and applicants.
• Developing and promoting the concept of “internationalising from local to global” and ensuring that the entire DMIHER(DU) community benefits from the growing internationalization of DMIHER(DU).
• Seeking, supporting and facilitating opportunities for DMIHER(DU) staff and students to experience a holistic academic & cultural life at international partner institutions through mobility exchanges.
