Datta Meghe Institute for Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University) presents a Diploma in Vision Technician powered by Lenskart Academy. This specialized course is tailored to equip students with the skills required to excel in Retail Optometry and eyewear stores. It offers comprehensive knowledge of various aspects such as Geometrical Optics, Low Vision Aids, Contact Lenses, and Retail Optometry. Students gain valuable insights into optics and eye care by delving into these subjects. The trained students can then assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in eye examinations and vision assessments.

Diploma in Vision Technician is a 2yrs full-time diploma program wherein a student undergoes DMIHER Classroom teaching in the first year and works in an Industry environment, gaining practical experience through an Internship at Lenskart stores across India. The course offers a stipend of up to Rs 8000* for students doing internships from the second year of the course at Lenskart stores across India.

Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission shall satisfy the following conditions

To be eligible take admission in Diploma in Vision Technician Program, a Candidate must have successfully completed the 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized Board/ University in Science stream. Any graduate with 12th Science also eligible.
